A service-connected disabled veteran and US Army Lieutenant, John is a proud member of American Legion Post 777 in Jefferson Park, Chicago. He has worked for Fortune 500 companies including Google and Microsoft, as well as the US Army, US Department of Commerce (Census), and the US Treasury (IRS).
John is an advocate of Meditation, Exercise, Wisdom Books, Patriotism, History, Education, and Limitless Joy — values that guide both his personal life and his public service.

Challenged incumbent Darin LaHood in Illinois' 16th Congressional District as a Republican write-in candidate, calling for fiscal conservatism, restoration of constitutional rights, and an end to the $40 trillion national debt crisis.
